HISTORY OF THE FA CUP

Tottenham Hotspur are truly one of the greatest ever FA Cup kings! Only the great Manchester United have achieved more success then Tottenham in this competition as they have taken the crown a further two times! Spurs have lost only once in the FA Cup Final, to Coventry in 1987, but there has to be a time when all good things come to a halt, but Terry Venables blue and white army restored faith in Tottenham's FA Cup history when Spurs beat the favored Nottingham forest in one the greatest Cup runs in history!

Last Season!

Tottenham were very unsuccessful in last seasons competition as they were knocked out after just two attempts! A 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane saw the tie replayed at St James' Park, but all hopes of a victory were dashed when 2 goals from Alan Shearer, and one each from Dabizas, Speed, Ferguson and Kieran Dyer killed of Spurs and all hopes of a fixture at home to Sheffield united!
