Tottenham Hotspur are not the most successful of sides in the League Cup, but were one of the first teams to have actually won the completion since it's arrival in 1967! Tottenham's recent success came in 1999 when a last gasp Allan Nielson header won the competition for the mighty Spurs!

Last Season!

Spurs were favorites from the beginning of this competition and also ad the advantage of not joining the competition until the 2nd round! We were drawn at home vs. Crewe Alexandra and we strolled to a comfortable 3-1 victory against the second division outfit! Goals from Armstrong, Ginola and Leonhardsen secured the victory! Our next match was a trip to the Cravern Cottage away to Fulham! Spurs were once again favorites, but knew there was the potential of a slip up! Spurs did slip[ up ad roared to an embarrassing 3-1 defeat! Goals from Hayles, Horsfield and Collins sinked Spurs to possibly their lowest point of the season!
