Darren Anderton has had a rough few years at Spurs. Several injuries have put Anderton back when he thought he was finally going forward. However, Darren has come through pre season with no worries and Spurs could well do with his services next season. I feel there will be more pressure on Anderton to produce next season as there is no Ginola to back him up and Anderton is going to have to be much more of an attacker. He has superb vision and a pass and a free kick which could easily match David Beckham and the like! Anderton also has an eye for goal and a thunderous strike which can rattle the nerves of any goalkeeper. Barring injury, Anderton will be vital for the club if they are to mount a serious challenge for honors!
