If man was made from chocolate, this man would have melted by now, but no, Chris is made of something much stronger then that. He has faced long criticism from Spurs fans since he first arrived in 1995, and Chris has had numerous chances to pack it all up with Spurs, but he has decided to stick with it and has changed his Spurs career around. By about January last year, Chris Armstrong's career at Tottenham was falling apart, but an amazing change of luck saw Chris end the season joint top league scorer with Steffen Iversen on 24 goals each. It was an amazing turn around for Chris after the home fans were giving him too much grief for missing easy chances and generally not producing anything from a match. Saying that, Chris is one of the most hard working and determined characters at Spurs. Every match he gives 100% and gets no credit what so ever but he has finally turned the corner for the good and will challenge Iversen strongly for that extra position besides Sergei Rebrov!
