Steffen is an odd character at White Hart Lane as he has a great personality, is an exceptional hard worker and wants one thing and that is to win every game with Spurs. However saying all that, he is not the best player we have. He has a very short fuse which is annoying at the worst of times, he hasn't got the greatest control which is vital in midfield, his vision isn't up to Premiership standards and his passing ability is also something which needs work on. He makes a meal of challenges on him, however when he makes a bad tackle (which you won't miss) then he has the cheek to say his opponent was either feigning injury or say it was a good tackle. Although I have totally put his technical ability down there, he is what this club needs. Someone who will frighten the opponents, he wants more then anyone on the pitch to win a game and will go to any lengths to prove that. He is not afraid to put his foot in and who knows, he could turn out to be one of the shrewdest signings George Graham has made!
